What style of photography do you specialize in?

We specialize in editorial and portrait photography.

What is difference between editorial and portrait photography?

Editorial photography tells a story for a business related need (advertising, branding, publications, etc.), whereas, portrait photography is a story for your personal use.

Do you offer services in addition to photography?

Yes, we have a team of creatives who can offer you videography services, hair styling, wardrobe selection, makeup artists, etc.

Moreover, you can bring your team of creatives to the shoot as well.

Do you offer album or print services?

Yes, we offer a range of album and print services to showcase your photos in a beautiful and timeless way.

Do you travel to the client?

Yes, Douglas travels domestically and internationally to shoot projects for his clients.

In addition, we have access to studios in New York and Philadelphia.

Do we need to pay a deposit to book?

Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date on the calendar. The amount of the deposit will depend on the type of project, the amount of the project, and date of the project. In most cases the deposit is 30% of the total. Depending on the time between booking and the date of your production the total amount may be due at booking.

How long will it take to receive the edited photos?

The delivery times are dependent current workflow, the number of photos to be edited and the level of editing required. We ask that you allow a minimum of five (5) business days to receive your photos. During our consultation, we will provide you with an estimate for your delivery.

What happens if we cancel?

While it is unfortunate that you have to cancel, we will work with you to reschedule. Please note that the deposit may not be refundable per our cancellation policy. (See below for more information)

Can we have the RAW files?

Only if you are willing to pay for them separately.

Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy

Once we receive your payment, we consider your project "booked".

If there is a cancellation within twenty four (24) hours of the booking, you can receive a full refund.
If there is a cancellation between twenty four (24) and seventy two (72) hours of the booking, you can receive a 50% refund.
If there is a cancellation after seventy two (72) hours of the booking, no refunds will be issued.

If we, Photography by Douglas, LLC, cancel your project, you will receive a full refund.

We understand that unforeseeable events may cause a need for change. As such, we work with our clients to address their needs in a mutually convenient manner.
